Born With Illeostomy Atresia, Face Looks Pale Like Jaundice. Does It Require Attention ?

My son is 20 but the last year we have really noticed a difference his face is so pale almost looks like a baby when they have jaundice. He is small for his age 5'9 weighs 125. He doesn't drink smoke or anything bad for his body. But his face is so noticeable people will say are you sick your face doesn't look right. Do I need to get him seen about? Somedays are worse the others. He was born with illeostomy atresia ( if I spelled right) his small intestine wasn't connected so he had to wear a bag for a year. We have never had a check since he was 5 he has had no problems but as a parent you know that his face color isn't right looks like when a cancer patient going thru treatments how they get pale and jaundice looking

Hi,
It seems that your son might have Microcytic anemia giving rise to pallor.
Go for Hemoglobin and B12 level.
After report consult your doctor and get examined and then he will go for line of treatment.
Give him fresh fruits, juices and hogh protein diet.
Give him plenty of water and fresh green veggies.
Ok and bye.
