My breasts still ache and my armpits too not excruciating pain and seems to be worse in the evening which is helped by a hot bath sometimes they are fine and as i say sometimes aching. I can still get a nipple erection and i check regularly for lumps and havnt found anything. I must also tell you that my bras are not the best fitted . Any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks rachelot the
Sorry to hear about your problem. This is a common problem after lactation. It is good that you are regularly checking your breasts for lumps.
To relieve this pain, you should wear a well supported bra (sports bra's are helpful). In addition to that avoid caffeine (coffee/ tea). If the pain still persists you can try Vit E capsules. With these measures the pain would go down within a month or so.
Hope you get well soon.
