Bright Red Bleeding In Stools, Pain On Wiping Anus. Causes For Bleeding?

Hi...I m 30 years old and went to the Restroom and there was A Bright red blood on my stool and on my toilet paper and also dripping. I been checking every 30 minutes and it was still blood. I feel like I need to go again but nothing. And it does feel kinda sore where I wipe but not sure if its from the toilet paper or a sore that s causing it to bleed .

hi there, you may be having a bleeding piles or an anal fissure, tho' they are more painful. You will need to visit a surgeon and get it diagnosed and accordingly start the medication. Continous loss of blood can lead to anemia and so you need to be careful about it. You can make a few changes in your diet to have soft stools ,like consume more of fibrous food like fruits, vegetables and salads and cut down on refined food items. You could also take some mild laxatives in the night or stool softners so that you do not have hard stools which increases the chances of injury and bleeding. Get an opinion from a doctor as soon as possible. Take care.

Hello
Fresh bleeding during defecation is mostly due to some local cause like hemorrhoids, fissures or uncommonly polyps.
As you have also a tendency to go to washroom and then nothing, its more suggestive of fissure.
So I would suggest you to consult a surgeon to rule out or confirm a local pathology by clinical examination.
Till then take plenty of fluids along with some laxatives as hard stools or constipation usually aggravates the condition.

Hi,
As per your complaints it should be due to piles or Fissure in ano.
Consult a general surgeon / surgical gastro enterologist &
treat accordingly. The causes for this two may be many out of which
Improper personal hygiene ,, Frequent hotel diet, water contamination, prolong standing are important causes
