Broke Leg. Have Splint Cast. Toes Itching. Leg Covered With Rash With Fluid. Solution?
Yes please. Almost 2 wks. ago I broke my leg. Went through emergency dept. lst and they put a temp. splint cast on for me. After getting home I had itching by my toes on the broken leg. In the morning the tope part of my legs were covered almost with a rash. I thought maybe bed bugs. but there are none in our bed and my husband does not have amy on him. These spot look like bites and raise up and have a yellow head with fluid inside the head. But I cannot see any bite mark on top of the head. It s very itchy and can't sleep at night very well. Hope hat is enough info. Oh - I now have some under my arms and down my arms from the elbows also. Thanks
You need to be re-evaluated. Please rush to the ER again. Did you take the tetanus shot?
Have you been put on antibiotics?
Were the areas of injury debrided thoroughly of any contamination?
There seems a trouble. There is probably an infection or there is an allergic response to the drugs that you were given. I am unsure of these. However, these are possibilities. Please get back to the ER and make sure all of these are done.
Get well soon.
