Hello Megan,

Your main problem is because you are not practicing good mouth and teeth hygiene. So this exposes you to dental carries and gingivitis (gum infection).
Since you are still very young it is not too late to recover from your mouth problems.
What you have to do is start brushing your teeth with soft toothbrush and a good tooth paste (i wouldn't specify any because of publicity issues). Your local dentist can recommend good ones.
Use mouth wash solutions like eludril or hextril to wash your mouth daily. Brush teeth twice daily in the morning and before going to bed at night. Avoid eating food that contain a lot of sugars like cakes, chocolates, sugar itself, beverages etc (they encourage growth of bacteria in the mouth). Do this continually everyday.
Visit a dentist so he can evaluate the extend to which your dental caries are (maybe it might require a small dental surgery like refilling).

Hope this helps

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
There are two things I would like to suggest you....
Firstly as per your explanation it is clear that you have gum inflammation, called gingivitis...when there are deposits over the tooth surface, gum gets inflamed resulting in gum swelling...as the gums swell, the capillaries in the gums gets pushed to the surface and mild stimulation would result in bleeding....get your gums cleaned and gum astringent would be prescribed that would take care of you bleeding gums....
Secondly, if you have a decayed tooth get it restored....so that the further loss of the tooth structure wont necessitate its removal......
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
Regards.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
as you wrote blood oozes when you were brushing or otherwise it means your gums and teeth need a professional cleaning in dental office. this condition is GINGIVITIS which worsens further into PERIODONTITIS leading to tooth loss in worst scenario.
start brushing twice daily with mild brush in a circular manner.
use warm saline rinses (half cup Luke warm water + half tbs table salt). rinse with it every day twice after brushing.
some time bleeding is due to vit. C Deficiency, increace intake of citrus fruits and salads .
or take vit c supplements.
bleeding can also b there due to hormonal changes.
visit a dentist for TEETH cleaning
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
You can contact me directly through my profile.

hi megan and welcome to HCM,
you are really young at age and you really need to be very conscious about your oral health or you may loose your teeth at an early age.
the problems you have mentioned shows that your oral hygiene is really poor which has lead your teeth to undergo decay, appear brown with cavities or enamel loss .
Bleeding gums shows you are suffering from gingivitis , that is inflammation of the gums due to accumulation of dental plaque ,calculus or food debris in the gum pockets and root surfaces of teeth.
i would suggest you to brush your teeth regularly twice a day with soft toothbrush,
use antiseptic oral rinses like chlorhexidine for mouth rinsing.
visit a dentist and get a thorough oral propylaxis done , that is complete scaling and root planing of the teeth.
i hope this helps,
take care.

dear friends thanx for sharing your concern

first of all you have to brush you teeth twice daily , and regularly if you don't you are increasing your gum problems.

now try to understand, that brushing your teeth will not damage your teeth rather it will improve its condition.

use a soft brush and a toothpaste and brush them even after each meal. to start with, you should go to your dentist and get scaling done this will reduce bleeding from your gums (gingivitis).

you said , you have all your teeth discolored there is solution for this too. it can be treated cosmetically.

so first of all , start brushing and be positive . all your problems related to teeth can be well managed. need to visit to your dentist.
use hexidine mouthwash frequently .
thanx

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

According to your history i suppose that the problems which you are facing are due to poor oral hygiene due to which you are having your tooth turned brown and cavities.
Bleeding gums indicates inflammation of the gums known as Gingivitis which occurs due to plague and calculus deposition.
I would suggest you to visit the Dentist and get thorough clinical examination done, go for symptomatic treatment of complete mouth scaling and polishing, take necessary x-rays and go for the restoration of the decayed tooth.
Brush your teeth twice daily.
Maintain a good oral hygiene, use antiseptic mouthwash gargles twice daily.

Hope this helps out.
