Menstrual irregularity can occur due to many things. Stress and strain leading to hormonal imbalance is one of them. If the spotting persists you consult gynecologist and take tablets to decrease that. Usually progesterone tablets will help in it and also they will not affect the possibility of pregnancy, if taken in the second half of the cycle. So you can go for them after consulting your doctor. And you can plan for pregnancy while being on treatment also.
