Bruise On Foot. History Of Breaking Navicular Bone In Foot Followed By More Walking And Playing. Concerning?

my daughter broke navicular bone in foot 5 months ago. She just showed us her foot today and it has bruise where it was broken. She has been doing a lot more walking since summer ended and school started back and played tennis the other day. Of course it is Sat and the orthopaedic will not be in unitl Monday, but I was concerned.

The appearance of bruise means that you are having an internal bleeding from the site of injury. Since there is a fracture, it is best to give adequate rest to your foot for proper healing.
