Bruise On Forearm Near Elbow, Hard Lump, Exercise Regularly, Takes Medicine For High BP And Cholesterol.
I developed a severe bruise on my forearm near my elbow. I noticed a black/blue spot which eventually got about 3" in diameter. Now the outside is black/blue, the inside is yellow with an underlying hard lump. It seems that something like that would have hurt when I did it, but I didn't hit anything--it just appeared. I am 61 years old, exercise regularly, but take medicine for high blood pressure and cholesterol. Both are under control.
Hi the darkish spot on the elbow is blood clot which appears like a mass with a bluish and yellowish mark. This will sometimes come without an injury. This develops due to brittle blood vessels or to a change in the bleeding or clotting time. Consult a physician for furthet management.
