Bruised Arm, Wrist And Leg Due To Fall On Left Side, Unable To Move Arm Faster And For Long Time. On Ibuprofen. Advice
Hello the other evening I was taking a shower (shower and tub in one) and I fell on my left side. I landed on my arm and wrist and my leg was badly bruses. It's been five days and I have really bad pain when I use my left arm an hand for more thank five minutes at a time. I also am able to move my arm in around but not very fast. I was thinking of going to the ER but not sure if I should give it more time first? I have also even taking ibuprofen and it helps a little. Any advise on what to do would be very helpful.
First of all you need x-ray to see the bones condition. You can replace ibuprofen with meloxicam 7.5 mg 1 pill a day. The result of the x-ray will make the decision if you should use antibiotic and to keep you arm immobilized.
Take Care.
