Bruised Ribs After A Blow Into Ribcage, Have Flatulence, Bloating, Discomfort. Related?
After colliding with a guy on the sports field, specifically, his elbow into my left side of mid rib cage, I have been experiencing expected level of pain for bruised ribs; however, I wasn t expecting my stomach to be gassy, bloated, and feeling discomfort--any connection possibly to ribs? It s been almost two weeks with similar pain, both in ribs and stomach.

as Per your problem You should get a Chest X- Ray done to know any Internal injury. While your symptom of stomach (gassy, bloated, feeling discomfort) are not related to the Ribs. These are related to your food habits. more will be clear with your chest X-Ray done. Pain in the ribs are due to contraction and relaxation of the inter-coastal muscle. For this you can use the Chest belt for the support of rib. For stomach problem you can use Antacid's and plenty of fluids. If the pain is intolerable you can use analgesic's.
Thanks
