Bruised Ribs On Back Due To Fall Followed By Hard Lump On Ribs, Painful To Touch. History Of Having Ovarian Cancer All Cleared. Thoughts?

Hi A couple of weeks ago I fell on some marble stairs and bruised my ribs on my back about half way down - about a week ago I have found a lump on one of those ribs possibly to the furtherst end of where to where it was ruised. It is painful to the touch and hard - s this bone bruising or could I have activated cancer cells - I had ovarian cancer about 2 years ago and as given the all clear 18 months ago - my CA125 readings were below average 2 months ago though am aware cancer can spread and that test would not pick it up - thank you

Greetings of the day
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic

Trauma does not lead to activation of cancer cells,so seems to be no cause of concern. SymtomSymptomatic treatment of pain with analgesic and hot fomentation is all that is required.

Take care
