Bruised Swollen Toe With Pain Due To An Injury. Need To See A Doctor?
I had a small iron park bench come down on my big toe Saturday and it is swollen,bruised around the toe and my toe nail is bruised. I have very painful throbbing shooting pains and it is hard to walk. It is not getting better. Should I see a dr? Could it be broken? From your symptoms there is possibility of having fracture of big toe.
Go for x ray of big toe.
If there is no fracture then there might be having soft tissue injury with hematoma.
Go for antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
Go for daily dressing.
If fracture is there, consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Ok anmd take care.
