Bump On Childs Knee On The Inside, Please Help

My 4 yr old is a very, very active little guy, today I noticed that on his left knee on the inside it feels like a hard bump, he says it doesn't hurt. I asked him if he fell and he said no, he only said he did a split while playing. Could you please tell me what it could possibly be?

It is present in the Popliteal fossa with your description and it could be possibly be a Popliteal cyst which is a harmless condition. Do take your child to the Pediatrician and get it confirmed.
