Hey, I'm an eighteen year old female and since birth I've had two small bumps, symmetrically positioned, on the back side of either ear. They do not hurt at all and never have, they're hard enough to be bone and I was curious as to whether or not they have meaning. Like the next step in evolutionor sosomething more realistic.
hi.
thanks for the query.
The bumps you mention behind the ear may be cysts. Sebaceous cysts are the most common type .
You can get a diagnostic conformation through an ultra sonogram ,which will outline the contents in the bumps as well.Once confirmed ,they can be surgically removed as well.
Hope this is helpful
Take care!
