Burning Pain In Middle Shoulder Blade, Throat Painful, Took Anadin. Permanent Relief?
About 4 weeks ago I had a tight burning pain in my middle shoulder blade on the left side radiating into my chest and throat it was very painfull I took some anadin and it calmed it down. I have had the pain on and off since then but not as bad. It seems to be in my mid and lower shoulder blade and is sore to touch and radiates into the front but not in the breast itdelf but behind and the bottom of my thraot. However it is not hurting all the tinme and can go 2 to 3 days without muh pain then come on quite bad but does go when i take an anadin

Since pain in the throat and shoulder blade is from the last 4 weeks .
Pain is radiating in the back and relieved with aspirin +caffeine i.e potent pain reliever.
May be due to .
1 Throat infection due to streptococcus bacteria ( may be other bacteria ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by swab from the throat.As youmentione din the query that pain is in the throat , actually this pain started from throat and reached in joint.
2 May be due to osteoarthritis , diagnosis can be confirmed by CB C and E S R .
In my opinion get in consultation from an E N T and there after from an orthopedic surgeon. Good luck. Dr. HET
