Burning Sensation In Chest Along With Change Of Voice. What Does This Indicate?
Hello I am 39 yo male. I usually get a cold which starts in my head usually stuffy nose, sore throat which progresses into my chest. I am currently experiencing a burning in my chest and my voice has become very deep when I speak and I am having to clear my throat on regular basis. However, I have no head congestion and my throat does not hurt. I am not a smoker and do not have acid re-flux. Is this a cold coming on or is it the start of bronchitis or some other issue?
Thanks for query on HCM. You have upper respiratory tract infection initially then spread to the lower tract. Chest burning is due to collection of secretions in the air ways. Change of voice is due to infection in the vocal cord. When infection involves terminal airways then it is called bronchitis. You have to start proper antibiotic like amoxy/clavulininc. Nsaid with levocertrizine, bronchodilator and ambroxol. Steam inhalation will be helpful. Warm water gargle is advisable. Avoid deep fried food, cold drinks, ice creams, flavored drinks. Consult your doctor for proper guidance and medical management.
HELLO! As you describe our symptoms you have laringitis. Home remedies are steaming in home to wet the air. If these symptoms do not facilitated you should go to doctor. Take care of your self
