Burning White Patches In The Mouth. Had Used Tobacco. Concerned
Sir i have got white patches in my cheeks(inner side). i want to know what r they? i get burn in that in very low quanity. You can say 1 point for itching and burning. I read many articles and found it to be leuko... Can u pls suggest me what is it? And yes i took a heavy dose of tobacco too during the day but i am not taking it from last 2 days when i came to know about this :( Now i am getting dipressed a lot as last year only i got married and this year i got a baby. I am really afraid now. Pls help.
I understand your concerns. If you have patches in the inside of your cheeks it is probably leucoplakia and this is a self healing condition. if it is hurting then you may need to apply local creams and please consult a dermatologist for the prescriptions. I also suggest that you cut down and eventually stop the usage of tobacco as this can result in mouth cancers. I believe you have good reason (family issues) to stay healthy and it is your responsibility to take care of yourself and your family. Consult a doctor as soon as you can as well as a psychiatrist to go off of the tobacco and ways and means to be able to do so.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
