Burns, Hurts And Stings During Bowels, Drops Of Blood, Sore Inside Rectum. Remedy?
My 12 year old son says it hurts, burns, and stings when he pees. Iv had him show me his pee after every time he has used the bathroom IV noticed what looks like little bits of blood that comes out while he pees. Also after he gets done going pee there are a few drops of pee on tolet seat and in the water. He says that it is a little sore inside where he pees at. I'm so worried about my son.please can you help Thank you!
Blood in the urine is most likely caused by urinary tract infection or stones. Pain in the rectum and urinating problems sometimes indicates prostate inflammation. With urinary tract infection there can be pain in the lower abdomen, radiating to the back or groin. Burning while urinating and frequent urinating appears. Fever can be present.
If this is a first time he has such symptoms, you should visit your regular doctor and have urine analysis, abdominal ultrasound and urine culture test done. Antibiotics might be necessary.
In case of recurring symptoms, urologist should be visited and additional tests done (urography)
In a meanwhile please ask him to drink plenty of mineral water and give him cranberries supplements.
Hope this will help. Regards.
