Burnt Shoulders After Sun Exposure. Pus Filled Bubbles Formed. What To Do?

Hi, I was recently in the sun for a long period of time and a lack of sunscreen. I ended up getting really burnt shoulders. It hurts to raise my arm, touch it, even getting clothing on! Every thing I do hurts it! Then today when I woke up I got in the shower and realized a bubble. I didn't think much of it and it popped, now a yellow puss like liquid is coming out of my shoulder. I am very worried. What should I do?

Hi thanks for writing here. You have devoloped sun burns.Occurance of blisters is quite common in such cases.Since blister is ruptured apply antibiotic cream over it.Once the lesion heals start applying a good sunscreen. You can apply a mild steroid in case there is itching or redness.Use loose cotton clothes covering whole body.I hope this will solve your problem.Take care.
