Burping, Bloating, Acidity. Drinks Mountain Dew Daily. Cure For Symptoms?

My husband burps EVERY NIGHT! Mostly when where laying down, or right after he eats. Bloating, sometimes acid, relief right after. He's 33, drinks Mt Dew everyday, smokes, loves spicy food. I give him crap for his body changing into like his 30 year old metabolism, where he can't consume or do certain things like he did when he was younger. I don't know, I'm sick of hearing the belching every night every 5 mins.

The burping might indeed be, as you say, be a result of the spicy food, and the and the carbonated drinks. However,it is a natural phenomenon to expel unnecessary air from the body.If you find it particularly irritating, you can consider switching him to a healthier diet.Heavy acidity if associated with a heartburn may require a physician consultation.
