Hello,
Deviated nasal septum or DNS as it is called, is a common condition causing breathing disturbances and sinus infections. As airway is blocked, either partially or totally, depending on the severity, the sinuses get inflamed. This results in post nasal discharge from the sinuses resulting in persistent cough. Remedy is through correction of the septal defect which will also cure the sinus problem. Please consult an ENT specialist for further advice. Take care.
