CVS Multi-Symptom Pill Had Cured Post Nasal Drip But Has Returned After Three Weeks. Any Suggestion?

I have what my doc diagnosed as post nasal drip. It started out as a tickle in my throat causing me to cough for about 20 minutes. At that time my nose would get stuffy and very mucus-y followed by my eyes watering. Ten days later I caught a cold, that stopped after about a week but the coughing continued but not as badly. After taking proscribed
medications with no result I took a multi-symptom pill from CVS and that did the trick. Three weeks later the symptoms returned ... any thoughts?????

HI
Thank for askig to HCM
I can understand your concern, this seems a common cold and cough and this gets alight without any medicine, symptomatic treatment some time gives good relief, and for that I would like to advise long acting anti-histamine and the drug of choice would be " Livocetrizine " and Acetaminophen with Ibuprofen have it three times in day, take steam inhalation, drink plenty of water, no need to worry about this have nice day.
