Can 1.5 Tabs Of Vicoprofen Be Taken For Knee/leg Pain?
My wife has been having knee and leg pain for the last three weeks. Her Dr originally thought is was Siatica and prescribed Vicoprofen. After a couple week my wife was no better. We went to see her doctor again. This time she ordered x-rays and prescribed more Vicoprofen. (this was last Monday) The doctor still has not contacted us about what is wrong. My wife is wondering if she can take 1 and 1/2 Vicoprofren because she is still in pain.

total dosage of vicoprofen should not exceed 5 tabs in 24 hrs .a single tab can be taken for time being and visiting a docter is adviced asap for further pain management . it has got nsaid which is associated with gastric ulcer and renal damage - take a ppi(proton pump inhibitor ) like omez along with it ( cap omez 20 mg 1-0-1 before food ) . multiple tabs 1.5 is not recomended as stat dose.
