I want to know if a largely fatty pancreas can result from a 5 week long episode of acute pancreatitis. Also, I have been put on Zenpep and the skin on my face burns increasingly severly for 3 hours after eating and taking it and hives appear on my back. I had one 5 week episode where I had symptoms of pancreatitis and stool tests taken during that time show approx 10% food absorption but I have had no symptoms in the month since then and never before that episode, have not lost any weight and felt good after until I started taking Zenpap and now I havethe symptoms above began.
