Can Amoxicillin And Clindamycin Be Taken Together?

I am suppose to start clindamycin 300 but by the time I got out of the hospital the drug store was closed. I have four amoxicillin 500 capsules. Will it be safe to take 2 of the amoxicillin and in the morning when the drugstore opens I can get the clindamycin?

Hello,

You are wondering if Clindamycin and Amoxicillin can be taken together. Well, Clindamycin is a lincosamide group of antibiotics can be taken with Amoxicillin as these two types of antibiotics don't interact with each other, so it is safe to take these together. I would suggest you take the proper course of probiotics, yogurt along with this as both can cause gastric problems. Take plenty of water as well. If any other symptoms appear to consult a general physician once and get it to examine.
