Can Atenolol Be Safely Stopped?

I have been taking25mg of Atenolol for four days, I have Anxiety and when I was in the Urgent care center the Dr. took my Bp and it was high of course because I was in the middle of having a slight panic attack and he gave me 25mg of Atenolol. I took it las night and my chest was hurting and it was hard to breathe. can I stop taking it safely?

dont stop the atenolol without taking concent of your Dr. Just make measure Bp by your doctor and then stop. You experienced chest hurting at last night it might be due to adverse effect due to atenolol so contact your dr.
