Can BPH Reduce Blood Flow To Maintain Hard Erection?

I have had two kidney infections and after the second one..inability to maintain a rock hard erection during sex. Can be rock hard during masturbation but have to concentrate,,,I also have the signs for BPH and have started taking saw palmetto.. can BPH reduce blood flow to maintain a HARD erection?
