Can CT Scan Increase The Risk Of Cancer?
Hi, I am Raj from India. I have been suffering from severe acid refluxes every morning for nearly 2 weeks. I was provided with Sucralfate to be used everyday, but the situation didnt change. So recently my doctor suggested me to go through abdominal CT scan to understand the situation and eliminate any possible problems before starting any medication. I wanted to know how safe is CT scan, as I heard it increases possible cancer risks

Ct scan does not increase the chance of cancer.
Asbestos exposure, cigarette smoking causes cancer.
In fact ct scan is recommended to rule out cancer.
