I fell backwards on outstretched arms. I have posterior bruise on the low forearm and a lm point tender over the scaphoid. The urgent care took hand and wrist xrays which showed a fracture. My orthopedic sent me for a ct scan. The ct showed no fracture, the radiology department associated with myorthopedic has missed several things in the past. I am confused as to if I have a fracture, does ct show a fracture all the time on the scaphoid or does it hide, do i still need to be worried about surgery. oh i have joint hypermobility, EDS.
