Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
It is always very disturbing when you have a condition or conditions that you will need to take many different drugs. The various drugs you have listed have their indications.A combination of problems like hypertension, thyroid disorders, dyslipidemia, dementia may justify all the above drugs. These are drugs that are good to be taken with medical prescriptions.Your Doctor will not however prescribe these drugs without evaluating their risks and benefits.I will suggest she meets an Internist for evaluation and reassurance and if need be, her anti-hypertensive treatment may be reevaluated given that she is presently on many of them. This does not however pose any problem.Just a way of making her more confortable with her drugs.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
