Can Cheston Be Used To Treat Phlegm And Back Ache?
Good morning...I had cold and slight throat irritation some ten days back. There wasn t any fever. However though cold n cough is gone but I still get phlegm which is yellowish and thick at times. There is a slight back ache too towards the left upper back side. My chemist gave a cheston tablet to consume. Would this be correct??
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Cheston contain paracetamol, phenylephrine and cetrizine. It will help in cough and cold. But you may have some infection because you have yellowish sputum. So you need a antibiotic along with cheston. You can take drug like cephalosporin or levofloxacine or amoxiclav according to advise.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
