You may be having obstructive sleep apnea due to any deviated nasal septum / rhinosinusitis. Hence, visit an ENT surgeon and get an endoscopy of the nose and larynx done to see if there is any lymphoid hyperplasia, rhinosinusitis is there. You are having cough while sleeping. It can be due to any postnasal drip from the nose. So do an endoscopy. Start nasoclear nose drop and fluticasone nasal spray. Do an X-ray sinus. Take steam inhalation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
