Can Crestor, Atenolol And Zetia Be Taken Together?

Hello, I am currently taking Zetia Levoxyl 88mcg Atenolol 50 mg at night I take the Levoxyl 2 hours later. My Doctor just added the generic of Crestor 5 mg also to be taken in the evening. Can I take the Crestor along with the atenolol and Zetia and then take the Levoxyl 2 hours later?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern and would explain that it is not recommendable to take Zetia and Crestor concomitantly, as their interaction may lead to muscle cramps and fatigue. Regarding Atenolol, there is no interaction with these drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
