Can Duphaston Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi Doctors, I need some help yesterday I went to hospital for ultrasound test and I am 14 weeks 5 days pregnant. My doc told me that my placenta is posterior, it s inferior tip is about 1.1cm away from the internal os. And she prescribed me Duphaston tablet for a month. My question is can I take this tablet is it safe. What it will do to this placenta. After having this tablet it will move up or it will protect from bleeding. Please answer!!!!

consult gynecologist for examination and advise regarding duphastone.it is to prevent miscarriage and menstrual irregularity. it is synthetic progesterone. it is safe if prescribed by gynechologist. it will protect from bleeding.
