Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey there, my doctor prescribed me Diabex (metformin) a few weeks ago, after having a initial adverse reaction (itchy rash) he told me to stop taking it. However I had experienced this type of reaction when I started on acne medication in the past. So I kept taking it, luckily with no other reactions. He has recently prescribed me with Duromine, I have not taken it yet as I am still reading up on it. I really just wanted to know if it is okay to take Duromine & Metformin together?
Hello Duramine is used to reduce body weight in overweight patients. If your weight is considered high, you could use it.
