Can Eliquis And Lasix Be Taken Along With Tamiflu?

My father is on eloquist, lasix, and blood pressure medications. Would any of these interact badly with Tamaflu? Mom has the flu and they put Dad on Tamaflu because he has begun with a cough and sore throat. He reports his heart racing and shortness of breath last night. It became better when he started using is ipap machine. You shoud know that Dad has pulmonary hypertenstion, heart failure, compromised kidneys, and severe sleep apnea.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I do not think that Tamiflu interact with any of these medications that you mentioned. He can use it for some days as he feels better.
I recommend you to take your father visit his cardiologist and he can rule out any possible deterioration in his heart health, because the shortness of breath and his heart racing may have to do with his heart problems.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anila Skenderi,
