Can Epi Max Be Used For Red Itchy Rashes On The Body Of An Infant?

high I would like to ask I want to ask i have a five month old girl she has fever and now recently rash appeared allover her face and head its seems red and itchy and and her eyes are swollen from her straching them pharmacist said its heat rash they gave her epimax I wanted a second opinion please help

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of red itchy rashes on the body. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction, contact dermatitis , eczema , psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes. Yes you can start with epi max as it is safe to use. You should consult allergy specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order allergy test , blood test for IgE antibodies and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic medicine , corticosteroid ointment and anti inflammatory. You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You should take benadryl twice a day and avoid dry environment.
