Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Faktu is a medicine that contains cinchocaine and policresulen. It belongs to a group of medicines for the treatment of hemorrhoids. Policresulen protects and heals the damaged tissue and Cinchocaine has a role to reduce the pain and itching due to hemorrhoids. Faktu ointment should be applied to the affected area 2-3 times a day using the applicator that comes with the ointment and should be used after emptying the bowel. To know weather your condition is hemorrhoids or anal fissures, you need to get per-rectal examination by consulting Surgeon. Accordingly, other mode of treatment can be instituted, if necessary.
