Can Gabapentin, Diazepam And Sertraline Be Taken Together?
Hi, my brother in law is a recovering opiate addict. The doctor has him on : 1 gabapentin 3 times per day. 1 diazepam per day 1 sertraline per day And he talked his sister into getting kratum tablets. He is taking 2 pills -3 times a day. He also drinks beer. I don t know how much. He seems not there all there sometimes , should he be taking all these, ?
Gabapentin, Diazepam, Sertraline, beer, and Kratom should not take together. Taking Gabapentin along with Diazepam, Sertraline, beer, and Kratom may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating impaired thinking judgment, and motor coordination which may result in falls and sometimes fatal injuries. He should avoid taking beer while being treated with these drugs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
