Can Gabapentin Be Taken While On Prednisone And Atenolol?
MY HUSBAND TAKES PREDISONE 10MG 1 A DAY ALSO HE TAKES ATENOL 25MG 1 A DAY AND ALSO HE TAKES LEFLUNOMIDE 20MG 1 A DAY AND HE TAKES LOSARTAN/HCTZ 100-25MG 1 A DAY. THEY WANT HIM TO START TAKING GABAPENTIN 300MG 3 A DAY ITS THIS OK WITH HIS BLOOD PRESSURE

as gabapentin is an epileptic drug to treat seizures but also be used in neurogenic pain.as side effects of gabapentin and cross reaction with above mention medication is concerned gabapentin cause dizziness,drwsy,dyspepsia,slurring of speach and GI upset only high risk group is renal impairment in patient,pregnancy or peadiatric group.
so its not dangerous with these medication.
