Can I Cut The IP 272 Pill In Half Because The Dosage Is 800-160 And In The Past Had Reactions To Antibiotics That Were 500 Mg Or Over?

Can i cut the IP 272 PILL IN HALF BECAUSE THE DOSAGE IS 800-160 AND IN THE PAST I HAVE ALWAYS HAD REACTIONS TO ANTIBIOTICS THAT WERE 500 OR OVER AND THOUGHT MAYBE I COULD CUT IT IN HALF AND TAKE IT THAT WAY? IT HAS A SCORING SPOT RIGHT ACROSS THE MIDDLE OF IT.

I am so sorry to hear about these issues that you have had with antibiotics that are over 500mg. I will not encourage you to do so as antibiotics can only work well if taken at the right doses. Dividing it will lead to an insufficient dose, will not treat your infection and can cause germs to become resistant. I will suggest that you take away this notion of over 500mg as it has not medical backings, take this drug as prescribed and report ant difficulties to your doctor for appropriate intervention.
