Is Drop In Blood Pressure A Side Effect Of Coreg?

Hi, my name is James and my wife is on the Medication Coreg 12.5 and she will get one pill that drops her BP, then the next pill does nothing, and she has to take more that the Dr ordered, have you had any problems with with this Drug in the past?

Coreg is Carvedilol, it is an anti hypertensive and does cause fall in blood pressure. Anti hypertensives might not work the same way everytime and the fall in blood pressure depends on several factors like how much salt the patient has taken, hydration status, if the blood pressure has been checked following smoking or exercise, time of the day, etc.
However if the reading of blood pressure is more than 140/90 even after taking the medication then the dose has to be adjusted, I would advice you to revisit your doctor
