Can I Do Nasal Surgery While Suffering From Romberg Syndrome?

Hi, I have Rhomberg's (a mild case) and have had reconstructive surgery on my nose (1994). I recently have gone to an ear, nose and throat specialist and was told I have nasal valve collapse. The Dr said she can perform surgery to correct this using Medpor lateral nasal valve implant. My question is, since I have Rhomberg's and my skin is thinner on the left side of my face, will I have more of chance that the implant will come through the skin?
