Can I Get Hepatitis If I Carry An Embryo Of A Hepatitis Infected Person As A Surrogate Mother ?

I am planning on becoming a surrogate and I recently found out that one of the intended parents tested positive for hep B antigen. Am I at risk for hep B during or after the embryo transfer?

Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
If any one of the parents has tested positive for hepatitis B antigen then there is every likelyhood of embryo being positive for the same antigen. So, you can easily get yourself infected during embryo transfer as well as during the delivery.
