Can I get Rabies from Birds Too since I have a friend who has a lot of birds one day I was playing with one and that one bit me deep into my thumb the wound closed off soon no problem with that there is no pain too, and I have no problem using my thumb, so is there a possibility that I could have Rabies!!
Rabies for all practical purposes does not spread by bird bite. When did the bird bit you?
You should be worrying about Tetanus more than rabies at this point. Please get Tetanus vaccination done as soon as possible.
Hi, Welcome to Healthcaremagic!
Rabies is a disease of higher mammals. Birds, or even rats cannot transmit it. As per Dr Phalguna's advice, consider tetanusimmunization.
rabies is present only in canine animals. You have nothing to worry about as long as ranies is concerned
