Can I Get A Blood Test For Hepatitis, Typhoid And Tetanus Without A Doctor's Prescription?
Hello Doctor , I would like to be blood tested for natural immunity to Hepatitus, Typhoid, tetanus before getting vaccinations to go to China for 2 weeks. Do you think i'm silly and do I have the right to request this as a patient as a g.p has just hung up on me after telling me I was being silly ?

For hepatitis you can go for Australia antigen.
For typhoid you can ask for widal test and typhi dot test.
For tatanus no test is required.
For all these antibiody titer estimation can be done but they are little expensive.
