Can I Get A Tattoo Done After Having Replaced An Aortic Valve Replaced With A Pig Valve?

I had an aortic valve replaced with a pig valve a couple of years or so ago. I've been operated on twice for the same thing. the doctors believe my hearts in the best shape it has ever been in I'm very interested in art and always wanted a tattoo. I'm not sure if I can get any or not. I've asked my cardiologist in person and he never gave me a straight answer. he said focus on school, continuing my education and what not.. so can I? will I be ok?
