ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, the usual period for which azithromycin is used is 3 days but it can be used for six days if there is partial response. But usually this should be done after consulting the doctor who has prescribed it. Otherwise use of antiseptic gargles and steam inhalation should take care of the remaining symptoms. Regards
