Can I Go For Home Abortion By Using Vit C?

Hi, on Nov 2013 my period start on 14th Nov and on Dec my period start on 17 Dec..this January 2014 I don have my period instead my pregnancy test is positive...I can't have baby due to my husband have Hep C and still under treatment right now. Can I make home abortion by using Vit C?

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.

Unfortunately it is not possible to get an abortion using vitamin C. Getting an abortion without medical supervision may be dangerous and may lead to serious bleeding, infection and retained bits inside. So please get evaluated by a doctor, determine the correct duration of pregnancy and then get an abortion as per their consultation.
It can be done using tablets as well as a surgical procedure and the choice depends upon the duration of pregnancy. Tablets work till 9 weeks and after that a surgical procedure is preferred.

I understand your problem but please do it as per guidelines to avoid any complications and be safe.
