I suffered vertebral artery dissection 11 months ago, caused by neck manipulation (it led to a major stroke). I still enjoy participating in sports although I am no longer coordinated, etc. but my husband is concerned about me participating in contact sports such as dodgeball or volleyball. Is this safe for me? I no longer see any neurologists, and they are difficult to get on the phone to ask a question like this...
